Giving back to the community since 1973

Supporting the Tri-Lakes Community

At its heart, the Tri-Lakes Women’s Club (TLWC) is about giving back to the community. Since its inception, TLWC has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars, all of which is put back into the Tri-Lakes community in the form of grants to schools and other nonprofit organizations. Funding for these grants comes from the TLWC's fundraising efforts, including the annual Spring Show.

Through our Community Outreach Program, our members also donate their time to support community events and service projects. Some of our current and recent projects include:

  • Palmer Lake Educational Garden: TLWC’s Garden Group has partnered with Palmer Lake Elementary School to establish a community-supported garden to provide students   hands-on learning and the opportunity to personally see the results of their efforts.
  • Community Quilts: TLWC’s Stitch and Chat members combine their love of quilting with service to the Tri-Lakes community making quilts that are donated to individuals such nursing home residents.
  • Musical Performances: TLWC’s own singing group, the Knotty Pines, performs periodically at luncheons, nursing homes and other local venues. Songs consist of oldies, Broadway, religious, and holiday tunes.

We are proud to support the Tri-Lakes area and look forward to serving the area for years to come.
