Membership Agreement

Responsibilities of Members: (as defined in the Tri-Lakes Women’s Club Bylaws under Article III, Section 3)

In order to be a member in good standing, the following responsibilities must be met:
Section 3. A. Confidentiality Responsibilities (Obligations):
1) Treat the Member Handbook and Membership Roster as confidential; not to be released to non-members or the general public.
2) These documents (or any distribution lists created from the roster) are only to be used in the conduct of TLWC business.

Section 3. B. Financial Responsibilities (Obligations):
1) A member shall pay dues annually to the Membership Chairman, the Treasurer or a designated representative of the Treasurer (as detailed in section 2 of bylaws).
2). Pay for reservations made for members and/or guests that have not been cancelled by the announced deadline.

Section 3. C. Charitable Responsibilities (Obligations):
1) Participate on committees and/or perform such tasks as may be required for the success of the charitable events of the club.
2) Support scheduled Bake Sale(s) by donating three complete recipes of homemade items or giving the designated financial donation as announced by the 2nd VP of Charitable Events prior to that event ($35.00). This responsibility is waived for members who have been in TLWC for twenty-five or more years.

I acknowledge that if anyone is hurt or property is damaged during my participation in any TLWC activity, I may be found by a court of law to have waived my right to maintain a lawsuit against The Tri-Lakes Women’s Club or any other agent acting on its behalf, on the basis of any claim from which I have released them herein.
